Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your data

roolis.org operates this website and decides how the data described here is handled. For privacy questions, write to [email protected]. If you contact us about a specific page, quoting the URL helps us answer faster.

2. What we collect

Server logs: IP address, user agent, referring page, requested URL and timestamp. These are written automatically by our web server and by Cloudflare, which sits in front of the site.

Cookie and local-storage values set by the site or by the services listed in section 7.

Anything you choose to send us by email.

We do not ask for your name, address, payment details or gambling account data, and we have no registration or login on this site.

3. How the data reaches us

Most of it is generated by your browser making a request. We do not run forms or trackers that require you to type personal details. If you email us, we hold that message and the address it came from.

4. Legal basis (GDPR Article 6)

Server logs and basic security processing rest on our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and free of abuse (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Non-essential cookies and analytics rest on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time through your browser settings.

Replying to your email rests on legitimate interest, or on taking steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)).

5. What we use it for

Keeping the site online, diagnosing errors and blocking automated abuse.

Understanding which articles are read so we know what to update. This is aggregate traffic data, not profiles of individuals.

Measuring whether a visit to a partner link led to a signup, which is how we get paid. See section 7.

6. Cookies and similar storage

Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working and are set by Cloudflare for security and load balancing. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.

Affiliate and measurement cookies may be set when you click a partner link, so the partner can attribute the visit to us.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking the non-essential ones does not restrict any content on roolis.org.

7. Third parties and affiliate partners

Cloudflare provides our CDN, TLS and bot protection, and processes request metadata on our behalf.

Our hosting provider stores the server logs described in section 2.

When you follow a link to Rooli Casino or another operator, you leave this site. The destination sets its own cookies and applies its own privacy policy. We may be paid a commission if you register there. That commission does not change what we write, and it costs you nothing.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with data brokers.

8. How long we keep it

Server and CDN logs are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted or aggregated beyond re-identification. Email correspondence is kept as long as needed to deal with the matter and any follow-up, normally no more than 24 months.

9. Your rights in the EU, EEA and UK

You can ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what happened before.

Write to [email protected]. We answer within one month. You may also complain to your national supervisory authority; in Germany that is the data protection authority of your federal state.

10. Your rights in California

Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA you may ask what categories of personal information we collected in the last 12 months, why, and who received it. You may request deletion or correction, and you may opt out of sale or sharing.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CPRA, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. Requests go to the same address as in section 9.

11. Transfers and security

Our servers are in Europe. Cloudflare operates a global network, so request metadata may be processed outside the EEA under the safeguards Cloudflare maintains, including standard contractual clauses.

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to the server is restricted to named administrators. No website can promise perfect security, and we do not.

12. Children

This site covers gambling and is meant for adults only: 18+, or 19+ in Ontario and most Canadian provinces. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, tell us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change how data is handled we will update this page and the review date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
